I’m Paris Smith, artist and graphic designer.

I think I’ve spent more of my life holding a pencil (or crayon, paintbrush, stylus, etc.) than not. The most precious moments of my childhood were feverish hours of drawing and writing stories that were desperate to make it to the real world on stolen printer paper. As I grew older I chose to pursue art as a career, and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2021. I currently work in graphic design.

I love using art to create fantasy worlds and characters, or just snapshots of a whimsical moment. Some of the biggest influences of my work are the Lord of the Rings movies and books, Studio Ghibli films, and video games such as Skyrim and Oblivion. Nature is another source of inspiration in my art. I love studying landscapes and the animals that inhabit them. The mediums I connect with most are watercolor, gouache, and digital painting.
